I recently moved to West Newbury from the city and one of my biggest fears was moving away from a quality neighborhood takeout spot. The first meal I had from them was the pizza (one cheese, one pepper and onion, and one pepperoni). It is served Greek style (thicker crust and slightly sweeter sauce). All three were excellent and that's a ringing endorsement from a guy originally from Revere. Since the pizza on move-in day, I've had their buffalo wraps, buffalo Caesar wraps, Greek salad, and turkey wraps and I have to say all were consistently good. Maybe it's just a factor of being further from Boston, but everyone who works there is very friendly and conversational, which is a pleasant surprise. I'm glad to have them nearby.

Tasty food, made quickly by friendly folks. This isn't fine dining, it's affordable and good food in a comfortable place. My friends swear by the gluten free crust, but I haven't tried it. I love the pizza most, especially the Greek and the BBQ chicken. Usually a few home made specials too. The staff is loyal and they have all been there for years. I like supporting family businesses.

We go here a lot and eat in. We normally get the chicken parm dinner which comes with a nice salad. Good size portion and tastes great. Tried the Greek pizza as take out and it was not good. Too much cold and clumpy spinach. They also screwed up the order, not sure how you get eggplant when you order pineapple. I'll stay with the chicken parm from now on.

We live in West Newbury and are very familiar with WNPC. We've never eaten inside, always ordered take out. They offer typical sub shop fare, nothing that will change your life. "Typical" pretty well sums it up. The pizza is decent, although thy have a tendency to over-cook it and you really have to check it before you leave because there's often a glitch. More than once, we've been given someone else's pizza, so now we check before we leave. The subs are also pretty typical. The ingredients aren't "homemade", but most subs places don't offer that anyway. The chicken, meatballs, veal cutlet-all pre-bought. It;s the kind of food that tasted exactly the same no matter where you go, because they all use the same company, maybe? Also, the subs are SMALL. If you order a large sub, the same thing at most other places is considered a small. The "side orders" are in the same vein. It's all pre-fab, pre-manufactured and brought in, fried to order. They offer mozzarella sticks, french fries, sweet potato fries, chicken wings, onion rings, etc...again-the exact same product that you can get at any number of places. I've never had their calzones, but I do know someone who swears by the buffalo chicken calzone. The flavors are perfectly fine and great for an easy, quick meal option and they're the only food offered in West Newbury and they do have beer on tap and wine. The decor needs a lot of help. It;s pretty "lived in". Also, the staff could use come customer service classes. It's very much a "get 'em in and clear 'em out" atmosphere. Unlike another reviewer, we've never experienced a wait-time issue here. It would be nice if they delivered.

I stopped here because a local friend of mine told me it was great for dinner. The woman who served me was friendly. They have lots of different options for dinner, but I got to slices of cheese pizza. They were filling and I liked how the cheese was slightly baked making it crisp in some places. It's an inexpensive way to skip cooking and enjoy a warm meal.

I got a tuna sub that was inedible. Absolutely disgusting. How can you screw that up? It appears that they used some type of filler; bread crumbs or old stale sub rolls, but the end result was a fishy tasting mush. Gross. Obviously real tuna in a tuna sub is too much to ask for. Last time I go there.
